NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The 2nd Annual Rally Rumble Festival was held Saturday evening at Rocketown.

The Rally Rumble is an annual teen concert and fundraiser for childhood cancer research.

Each performer has chosen a Rally Kid, a child who has battled cancer, for whom to honor and raise money.

Several of the performers know their Rally Kid personally and could share what they have learned about childhood cancer.

"I'm definitely out here to raise awareness and remember some of my friends who have been affected," said Sara Puryear, who emceed the event.

There were about 75 teens participating this year and two travelled from as far as Indiana and Massachusetts.

"Cancer research and the disease itself is something that's very close to me, close to my heart," said musician Brianna Grace, who drove from Boston to take part. "So as soon as I heard about the opportunity to come down here and do something like this I decided I wanted to snatch it up."

There were teen musicians, Rally Kids and models involved in the fundraiser.
