Multi-vehicle crash blocks lanes on I-24 W.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A multi-vehicle crash has three lanes of Interstate 24 West blocked on Friday afternoon.

The accident occurred at Exit 49 near Shelby Avenue just after 2 p.m.

Officials estimate the roadway to be cleared by 5 p.m.

Eastbound traffic is not affected.

The cause of the wreck was not immediately known.
