A Metro police officer was injured after an alleged drunk driver rear-ended him Friday morning.According to Metro Police Captain Ben Dicke, the Cmdr. Terrence Graves was stopped at a traffic light on D.B. Todd Boulevard at Jackson Street when his vehicle was rear-ended.Graves was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. He has since been released. The woman driving the other vehicle, 20-year-old Oona Doyle, was not injured in the accident.Doyle was arrested for driving under the influence and underage drinking. She is free in lieu of $9,000 bond.
Graves was previously injured in an accident in 2010 on Interstate 24 West between Old Hickory Boulevard and Hickory Hollow Parkway.
