Lockdown lifted at Napier Elementary School

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Napier Elementary School was placed on a lockdown for a short time on Thursday afternoon.

Authorities told Nashville's News 2 the lockdown was put in place while SWAT served a felony probation warrant nearby as a precaution.

The man was taken into police custody without incidnet.

On Wednesday the school's after school program was placed on a lockdown following an armed robbery that occurred close by.

No additional information was released.
