NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Hermitage Avenue could remain closed for up to two weeks following a water main break Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said they were forced to close Hermitage Avenue after the 36 inch line broke. Motorists are being diverted to Fessler's Lane and Fairfield Avenue.
Two businesses in the area remain without water.
Crews have installed a new pipe and hope to have water flowing through it by Monday.
