Wilson County Zaxby's donates portion of sales to Habitat for Humanity
MT. JULIET, Tenn. -
In Wilson County, Zaxby's is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to raise money to help build new homes.
From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Zaxby's will donate 10% of its proceeds from both the Mt. Juliet and Lebanon restaurants.
"Every gift matters. That's why we appreciate businesses like Zaxby's partnering with Habitat and providing an opportunity for us to continue doing what we do for families her locally," said Troy Treadway, Director of Habitat for Humanity of the Wilson County division.
Habitat for Humanity's Wilson Division is planning to build two homes this summer. One of the homes will belong to Sarah Caves, a mother of five.
"It means the world to me. My kids are my world. For them to be able to have a safe home to be in and grow up in that I am going to own and I am going to be able to provide for them it's unexplainable what it means," Caves said.
Habitat for Humanity requires all future homeowners to take classes, as well as help build their own homes.
