NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A woman who was pulled from her vehicle after her car came to a rest in a creek following a two car accident has died.
Authorities said Elaine Mailloux was traveling southbound on Leipers Creek Road when a driver turning onto the roadway struck her 2011 Ford Mustang.
Mailloux's car went off the roadway before coming to a rest in a nearby creek.
Mailloux is said to have suffered a heart attack while trapped in the vehicle under the water.
She was pronounced dead at Williamson Medical Center.
The driver of the second vehicle involved has not been charged.
