Semi runs off interstate, into concrete wall

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

An accident involving a semi truck was reported north of downtown near Interstate 65 and Trinity Lane on Saturday.

Police said the semi truck ran off the interstate into a guardrail, through a chain link fence before landing in a 15 foot embankment and concrete wall.

The driver was not injured

Nashville's News 2 spoke with the driver and he said the car in front of him locked their brakes and the driver did the same.

When the driver applied his brakes he slid.

The accident was not weather related.
