Clerk struck in face during Franklin armed robbery

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -

A clerk at a Franklin convenience store was struck in the face multiple times during an armed robbery early Thursday night.

The incident was reported at Tim's Market located at 1535 Columbia Avenue around 7 p.m.

Police reported three armed men entered the store and demanded money from the store employee.

One of the gunmen repeatedly struck the clerk in the face. The employee was transported to an area hospital.
