LINCOLN CO., Georgia -
Tennessee tight end Brandon Barden was arrested in Georgia over the weekend for DUI refusal.
According to a police report, Barden was taken into custody following a single car accident early Saturday morning.
The 23-year-old's vehicle left the right side of the roadway after loosing control, hit a ditch drain and flipped one and a half times before coming to a rest on its side.
The responding officer reported a "strong odor of alcohol" and that Barden refused a field sobriety test.
Two passengers, as well as Barden declined medical treatment.
Barden, who is a Georgia native, is charged with DUI on refusal. He has since been released on bond.
The Titans told Nashville's News 2 Thursday afternoon they are "aware of the report and are gathering details."
Barden played at Vanderbilt University prior to playing for the Titans last year in his rookie season.
