NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A 22-year-old man was taken into police custody after police found marijuana inside a bag belonging to his two-year-old daughter on Tuesday during a routine traffic stop.
Tyquane Crutcher was a passenger inside of a vehicle that was pulled over after the driver failed to complete a stop at the intersection of Summer and South 5th streets.
During the traffic stop, the driver gave consent for officers to search the vehicle.
A small baggie of marijuana was located inside the child's bag. The child was also a passenger inside the car.
Crutcher admitted to police the illegal drug belonged to him.
He has two prior convictions for simple possession.
Crutcher has since been released on a $3,500 bond.
