A stabbing victim brought himself to the hospital after he was injured during an attempted robbery.According to police, a 62-year-old man arrived at Nashville General Hospital at Meharry just after 1 a.m. with a stab wound to his chest.The victim told officers a man with a knife approached him in the 1600 block of Herman Street and demanded money. The victim said he attempted to move past the suspect when he was stabbed. No further information was immediately released.
It was not immediately clear if the suspect took any money. The investigation is ongoing.
