Atlanta fugitive caught in Murfreesboro motel

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. -

A fugitive wanted for shooting a man in Georgia was apprehended in a Murfreesboro motel.

Farraknad Mohammed Price, 18, of Atlanta, was wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a felony with a firearm.

Price was accused of shooting Orentheal Childs 15 times on February 15 in Atlanta.

The Rutherford County Sheriff's office worked in unison with the U.S. Marshals to bring Price to justice.

The marshals received information that Price was staying at Knight's Inn on South Church Street.

A team of deputies and marshals apprehended him from the hotel where he was transported to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center to be held for the Atlanta Police.

Price was also charged with being a fugitive from justice.

Authorities also stated that Price was a member of the Folk Nation gang.
