Suspect wanted for stabbing man during argument

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are searching for a man who stabbed a person during an argument Friday night in Madison.

According to police, the two men were arguing about money in the 100 block of Due West Avenue when the incident occurred.

The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville with non-life threatening injuries.  

Police canine responded to the scene, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s. He was accompanied by another man at the time on a Hoveround style scooter.

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
