NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A memorial for Mindy McCready is being planned by friends and peers in the music community next month.
The service is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, in Nashville at the Cathedral of the Incarnation.
"Our family is devastated by the loss of our beautiful and talented daughter, Mindy McCready. Her life no matter how brief, touched many, and she will forever be our special angel," said Mindy's mother, Gayle Inge.
Mindy's life was public and the family welcomes friends and fans to join them in a celebration of Mindy's life Tuesday Feb.26, 2013 at 2:00pm at the Crossroads Baptist Church, 10721 Palm Beach Boulevard, Ft. Myers, Florida.
Pallbearers will be Timothy McCready, Jr, Joshua McCready, Colton Skylar Phelan, Chad Stancel, Tyler Stancel, Chase Stancel and Daniel Pledger.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations be made to "Mindy McCready Children's Trust," c/o John Ammons, Edison National Bank, 13000 S. Cleveland Ave. Ft. Myers Fl.
