Lady Vols blow out Auburn 83-61

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -

Tennessee used hot three point shooting and a fast start to rout Auburn 83-61 Thursday night in Knoxville.

The Lady Vols hit 6 of their first 7 shots from three-point range opening up a 33-7 lead and bringing the game to a quick end.

Meighan Simmons led Tennessee with 24 points and Cierra Burdick had a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Taber Spani added 16 for Tennessee.

The Lady Vols improve to 21-5, 12-1 in the Southeastern Conference.
