Mom leaves 3-year-old daughter at bus station for hours

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A Nashville woman faces multiple charges after she recently left her three-year-old daughter alone at a bus station for several hours.

According to police, Mwisa Sumaili left her toddler at the MTA bus station in Nashville for four hours.

Upon returning, police said the 30-year-old was under the influence of an intoxicant.

She told police she didn't know why she left her child alone.

Sumaili is charged with public intoxication and child abuse.
