NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A quick response helped save a duplex from being badly damaged by a fire Wednesday morning.
The blaze was reported around 10:45 a.m. in the 1000 block of 40th Avenue North, off of Centennial Boulevard.
It took approximately 15 minutes for firefighters to find the source and extinguish the flames.
The structure was saved, but the attic was damaged in the fire.
No one was injured.
The official cause of the fire was not immediately known, but officials believed it was an electrical fire.
Electricity to the duplex has been disconnected.
