The family of murder victim Dalia Gutierrez-Sanchez has increased the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for her death. The reward was increased last month to $15,000, but in an effort to gain some leads on the story, it has since been increased to $20,000.Gutierrez-Sanchez was found shot to death outside of her apartment building at 371 Wallace Road on August 24, 2012.
An eye witness reported that there was an altercation between Gutierrez-Sanchez and the gunman before she was fatally wounded.The gunman fled the scene on foot and has yet to be identified.Authorities have reported that the suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s. He has unkempt hair that he wears over to one side. He is around five feet, eight inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. At the time of the murder he was wearing blue jeans and a blue-green hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information that can assist in identifying the murderer is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME and is eligible for another reward of up to $1,000.
