FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
The Back Yard Burger located in Franklin was significantly damaged after a fire broke out Monday night.
The fire was reported at the restaurant located at 1015 Center Point Place around 8:15 p.m.
Authorities told Nashville's News 2 strong winds caused the flames to spread rapidly.
"Conditions worsened within seconds after we arrived," said Franklin Fire Battalion Chief Greg Baltimore. "Before we could get a hose on the ground black smoke started rolling out of the front door."
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Investigators believe the fire sparked in the kitchen.
Damages are estimated to be around $200,000.
