Man, 66, seriously injured in 2-vehicle crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A 66-year-old man was seriously injured after he collided with an SUV Sunday night.

Metro police told Nashville's News 2 the man pulled in front of an SUV as he was exiting the Waffle House in the 3300 block of Dickerson Pike.

The incident happened just before 7:30 p.m.

Two occupants in the SUV were sent to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The 66-year-old was taken to Vanderbilt with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators were on the scene for over four hours. The fatal investigation team was called in to assist.

No further details were immediately released.
