Pregnant woman injured in shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are investigating a shooting that injured a pregnant woman Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened just after 2 p.m. in the 600 block of Lewis Street in south Nashville.

Police told Nashville's News 2 a man was talking to his pregnant girlfriend outside when he was shot.

The bullet also grazed his girlfriend.

Both victims were sent to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.

No further details, nor their identities, were immediately released.

No arrests have been made.
