7-year-old struck by car in Clarksville - WKRN, Nashville News, Nashville Weather and Sports

A seven-year-old child in Clarksville was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after being struck by a car early Thursday evening.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Gupton Lane.
Police spokesperson Jim Knoll told Nashville's News 2 the child was struck by a Pontiac Sunfire while running across the street to get the mail.
The victim is said to have suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Charges are not expected.
No additional information was released.
