Highway 96 reopens after truck goes off roadway

ARRINGTON, Tenn. -

Highway 96 in Arrington has reopened after a tractor trailer went off the roadway Thursday morning.

The incident was reported shortly before 6 a.m. on Highway 96 near Wilson Pike.

Officials told Nashville's News 2 the truck's back end went into a ditch as the driver was getting onto the roadway from a parking lot.

The roadway was closed while crews worked to get the truck out of the ditch.

It has since reopened.
