2 employees injured at Nashville airport

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Two employees were injured in an accident early Wednesday morning at Nashville International Airport.

Airport spokeswoman Emily Richard told Nashville's News 2 the incident occurred around 7:15 a.m.

Matt Miller, a spokesperson for American Airlines, said two of the airline's employees sustained minor injuries while loading bags prior to a flight from Nashville to New York LaGuardia.

Miller said both employees were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The incident had no impact on flights.

No further details were immediately released.
