Nashville police had to Taser a man who admitted to using drugs after he told an officer he wanted to "eat him" Monday night.
Officers responded to an apartment on Louisiana Avenue after they received a call to check on Xavier Christmon.
According to a police affidavit, Christmon, 21, allegedly rushed at an officer and threatened to hurt him. That's when the officer deployed his Taser.
Christmon continued rushing at him, so the officer pushed him to the ground.
Police said they used the Taser a second time as Christmon resisted arrest.
Christmon admitted to police that he had used Xanax, marijuana, Ecstasy and bath salts.
Officers had to hold him down until paramedics arrived.
One officer said Christmon tried to bite him and said he wanted to "eat" the officer.
No one was injured.
Christmon was booked into Metro jail and is being held on $20,000 bond.
