A Murfreesboro mother faces multiple charges after her infant was allegedly born addicted to drugs. According to WGNS Radio, Vanessa Cleveland is charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. The radio station reported the 23-year-old woman's child tested positive for opiates, cannabinoids and methadone. Cleveland reportedly told police she took oxymorphone as well as methadone while she was pregnant. The baby is said to have suffered drug withdrawals and needed additional medical treatment following birth.
