Centerius Bryant, 22, is charged with robbery and vandalism.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Police arrested and charged a man following a fight early Thursday morning inside a Tennessee State University dormitory.
According to a police affidavit, Centerius Bryant, 22, struck the victim in the face inside Boyd Hall after asking him if he "had some weed."
He then stole the victim's driver's license, two Visa gifts cards and cash before a fight broke out.
During the fight, Bryant and the victim knocked over two computers, damaging both and ripping out the electrical cords from the wall, the report stated.
Bryant was charged with robbery and vandalism and booked into the Metro jail on a $28,500 bond.
It was unclear if the two men are students at TSU, or if the victim was seriously injured.
Bryant has a lengthy criminal history in Nashville.
He was arrested last June for assaulting two officers after a store clerk accused him of shoplifting.
