Speed limit temporarily reduced on busy Franklin roadway

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -

The speed limit on a busy Williamson County roadway will be temporarily reduced while crews complete a construction project.

Beginning Monday, Fifth Avenue North and Hillsboro Road will drop to 25-miles-per-hour between Fair Street and Joel Creek Boulevard.

The reduced speed limit is expected to remain in effect for about three weeks.
