CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Clarksville police are searching for two brothers who stormed into an apartment last week and opened fire.

The shooting happened during a party at an apartment on Westfield Court last Thursday night.

According to police, Martavious Briggs and his brother, Marcus Briggs, entered through an unlocked door carrying a handgun and a rifle.

The men started yelling at the people inside and opened fire.

Several people were injured; some from the gunfire and others from jumping from a second story balcony.

Warrants charging the Briggs brothers with two counts of especially aggravated burglary each have been issued.

Police said Martavious Briggs is already on probation for reckless endangerment and aggravated assault.

The brothers should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to call the Clarksville Police Department's tips line at 931-645-8477.
