Police arrested a driver Tuesday night and charged her with her fourth DUI after she struck a semi-truck on Interstate 65 north of Nashville.
According to police affidavits, Heidi Weaver, 43, struck the truck and was then observed arguing with the driver on the side of the interstate.
When police arrived, witnessed stated they saw a passenger in the woman's vehicle throw beer bottles and aluminum cans from her SUV.
Upon further inspection of the cans, officers realized they had been modified to be pipes and had burnt marijuana residue and smelled of the drug.
At the time, Weaver was driving on a suspended license.
She was charged with DUI, her fourth offense, driving on a revoked license and possession of drug paraphernalia, among other charges and booked into the Metro jail on a $30,000 bond.
Weaver's passenger, Sean Serakowski, 22, of Smyrna, was charged with littering and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
He has since been released on a $3,000 bond.
