BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say two people were killed and three others injured in a crash on Lakeshore Parkway in Birmingham.

Birmingham police Sgt. Johnny Williams tells Al.com that the three injured people were being treated at three different hospitals.

Police say two vehicles were involved in the wreck, which happened around 7 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Sydney Drive.

Few other details were available early Wednesday.
