COLUMBIA, Tenn. -

The Columbia Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a teenage mother who ran away from state custody.

Latasha Farrell was last seen walking out the front door of Magnolia Academy alternative youth services facility on January 2.

"She ran away from there one day. She was recovered. She was put back in the same home, she ran away the next day and has been missing ever since," said Sgt. Jamie Reed with the Columbia Police Department.

Farrell, 18, has three young children with her boyfriend.  They are also in state custody.

The teen is from Dyer County and has no other connection to Columbia.  It is believed she may be back in her hometown with her boyfriend.

Investigators say because Farrell is in state custody she will be considered a minor until she turns 19.

She is described as five feet, four inches tall and weighs 108 pounds.
