CENTERVILLE, Tenn. -
A portion of Interstate 40 in Humphreys County was shutdown Monday morning after a truck hauling paper overturned.
The incident was reported just before 6:30 a.m. on I-40 West at mile marker 143 near State Highway 13.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the tractor trailer overturned onto the median, spilling paper products into the roadway.
Traffic was diverted off the interstate and around the crash.
By 8:30 a.m., one westbound lane had reopened.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash.
The driver of the truck was not seriously injured.
