ERWIN, Tenn. -
Police say four people are dead after an East Tennessee man killed his wife, two children and himself early Saturday morning in Erwin.
According to WJHL-TV, Erwin Police Chief Reagan Tilson said officers received a call around 2 a.m. on Saturday from a "wounded person" at an apartment complex in the city.
Tilson said it appeared the man shot his wife and children before taking his own life.
The identities of the family members are unknown at this time.
TBI spokeswoman Kristin Helm confirmed the information and said the agency wasn't immediately releasing more details.
