Bank offers reward for information on robbery

Wells Fargo is offering a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification and conviction of the gunman who robbed a west Nashville branch last week.

The robbery occurred at the bank located at 618 Thompson Lane last Friday.

Authorities said the suspect is a black male. At the time of the incident he wore dark clothing and a Titans cap.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled the scene on foot before getting into a white four-door pickup truck with black custom rims.

Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts or identity is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
