CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Clarksville police are investigating after two men stormed into an apartment Thursday night and opened fire.

Officers first responded to the apartment on Westfield Court after shots were fired. Upon arrival they found several victims.

Officers found one man inside of the apartment with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Outside, officers found a 27-year-old male outside on the ground with a gunshot wound to his leg and also a hip injury from jumping off the balcony.

There was also an 18-year-old woman who had sustained an injury to her foot after jumping from the balcony.

According to police, there were several people inside of the apartment partying.  They were playing games, drinking and some were smoking marijuana.

Two men, possibly known to some of the people inside of the apartment, entered through an unlocked door carrying a handgun and a rifle.

The men started yelling at the people inside and opened fire.

When officers arrived, the two men had already left the area.

Police are investigating.
