Dump truck overturns in south Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A dump truck carrying soil overturned Friday morning in south Nashville.

The accident happened around 8:25 a.m. at the entrance to the Creekside at Brentwood Condominiums off Old Hickory Boulevard and just west of Edmonson Pike.

The driver told police he was having trouble with his brakes when he struck a rock wall and flipped over.

The driver was not seriously injured and was not transported.

Additional information was not released.
