Caribbean restaurant celebrates opening with free trip to Key West

SMYRNA, Tenn. -

Pollo Tropical Caribbean restaurant is celebrating its grand opening in Smyrna Friday by giving away a free trip to the tropics.

The first 100 customers in line at the new restaurant, located in the Smyrna Town Hall Shops on Team Boulevard, will be automatically entered to win a weekend trip for two to Key West, Florida.

The winner will be announced at 11 a.m. and will immediately be whisked away in a limousine and taken to the airport for an afternoon departure.

Additionally, the first 100 customers will receive certificates good for a Create Your Own Family Meal on their next visit.

The grand opening beach party celebration continues throughout the day.  A Jimmy Buffett tribute band is set to perform from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Pollo Tropical is a Caribbean-inspired quick-casual restaurant, famous for its marinated flame-grilled chicken, guava barbecue riblets, roast pork and other Caribbean-inspired favorites.

The restaurant will open daily at 10:30 a.m., seven days a week.
