Wreck slows traffic along I-40

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

One eastbound lane of Interstate 40 was shutdown following a crash Tuesday morning just east of downtown Nashville.

The crash was reported just after 6 a.m. on I-40 East at mile marker 12 near the Fessler's Lane exit.

Traffic was affected with the right lane blocked.

The incident was cleared and lane reopened by 7 a.m.

Additional details were not released.
