Operation Homelink provides military families with computers

Operation Homelink will distribute 100 refurbished laptops and webcams to the spouses of the members of the 101st Airborne in Fort Campbell, KY on Saturday.

Operation Homelink is an effort to support soldiers and their families specifically during deployments.

The equipment was given to help bridge the wide gap of miles and time between the families and their soldiers on duty.

The organization was founded in fall of 2002 and is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization.

The donation of this equipment was made possible by Fluor, Inc. of Irving, TX.

Other donors to Operation Homelink include Dell and Southwest Airlines.
