Man critically injured in Nashville shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A man was critically injured after being shot in Nashville late Thursday evening.

Police said they believe the man was shot in the 400 block of East Nocturn Drive around 6:40 p.m.

After being shot, the victim is said to have driven himself to Wooddale Drive before he was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

A suspect description was not immediately known.

The victim's identity was not immediately released.
