FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
The city of Franklin is considering a proposal that could ban street vendors from the area.
If approved, the ban would prevent street vendors from selling products such as "The Contributor," a homeless newspaper, on city sidewalks.
Residents can weigh in on the proposal during a public hearing Tuesday at the City Hall beginning at 7 p.m.
The board of mayor and alderman are set to vote next month.
Nearby Brentwood banned street vendors last year.
