NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Police are investigating after two masked men broken into an east Nashville home Friday morning and fled with cash.
According to Metro police, the home invasion happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Virginia Avenue off Gallatin Pike.
The victim told police one of the robbers had a handgun.
The suspects took a lock box containing an undisclosed amount of cash and fled before police arrived.
The homeowner was not injured.
Police did not immediately release a detailed suspect description.
