2 men wanted following Clarksville gas station break-in

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Police are asking for assistance as they work to identify two men who broke into a BP station in Clarksville.

According to police, the BP located at 100 Alfred Thun Road was broken into around 1 a.m. Tuesday.  Several items were taken including lottery tickets.

At 7:15 a.m. that same morning, a male tried to cash one of the stolen lottery tickets at a different BP located at Tiny Town Road and Trenton Road. He was unsuccessful.

The man was wearing the same clothes as the man who broke into the BP at Alfred Thun Road.

Another male tried to cash the same ticket at 7:30 a.m. at the Shell station located at Tylertown Road and Trenton Road and was also unsuccessful.

A clerk said the men were in a black Ford Expedition with two other passengers.
