CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -
Clarksville police said a man placed on probation for burglary in November was taken into police custody on Saturday for stealing hundreds of dollars of items from a truck.
Police said Vincent Ferrell broke into the unlocked 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck that was parked at a business located in the 600 block of Riverside Drive between 8:30 and 9 p.m.
The 52-year-old man is said to have taken $700 worth of personal belongings from the vehicle.
Ferrell remains jailed in Montgomery County on a $15,000 bond.
Police said he has an extensive history for theft of property.
