LEBANON, Tenn. -
Authorities arrested a Mt. Juliet woman last week for allegedly hiring a hit man to kill her ex-husband.
Bryam Megan Ewers, 42, is charged with solicitation to commit first degree murder.
She was arrested last Wednesday after contacting an undercover officer she thought worked as a hit man.
The two met in a Lebanon parking lot. During their conversation, Ewers agreed to payment of $5,000 to have her ex-husband killed.
Ewers also supplied photos of her ex and his residence to aid in carrying out the hit, a news release stated.
Additional evidence, including a large amount of cash, was found at her West Wilson Boulevard home.
Ewers was booked into the Wilson County jail on a $1 million bond.
A February 14 court date has been set.
