JERSEY CITY, N.J. -
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt took a close friend to a New Jersey hospital early Sunday morning after he was stabbed during a fight in Jersey City.
According to The Jersey Journal, Britt refused to talk to police following the incident.
It was originally reported the victim was Britt's brother.
Britt's friend suffered a stab wound on the left side of his back. He has since been treated and released and is also refusing to cooperate with authorities.
The newspaper reported a short time after Britt's friend was injured; shots were fired near the location where the stabbing occurred.
Neither Britt nor the victim has spoke with detectives.
