MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -
A Rutherford County woman is charged with TennCare fraud after it was found she was using the state's public healthcare insurance program to pay for a fraudulent prescription for painkillers.
Twenty-nine-year-old Katherine Johnson was taken into police custody on Friday.
TennCare fraud is considered a Class E felony and carries a sentence of up to two years in prison.
