NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The 27th Annual Nashville Boat and Sports Show continues through Sunday at the Nashville Convention Center.

Each year the show features hundreds of boats, marine accessories, personal watercraft, hunting and fishing accessories, and plenty of hands-on interactive family and educational activities.

As the show host for 27 years Joey Monteleone knows his boats.

"I think the best thing about this is you get a chance to really compare features you know, because it's just like buying a car," he told Nashville's News 2.

C & O Marine wheeled in 10 of their boats turning the convention center floor into a water lovers dream.

"I've got a tackle store set up in here and I've got a glass repair over to the right and we have an onsite upholstery shop that's here with us to," owner Craig Odom explained.

Middle Tennessee Houseboat and Yacht Sales set up a virtual booth.

"We actually list, show and sale pre owned houseboats and new houseboats on Center Hill Lake," said Tony Ashley.

For the first time this year, attendees can get on the water and experience the fun of kayaking and stand up paddling at the new Paddle Sports Demo and Try-It Pool.

Visitors can also sharpen their boating and angling skills and get tips from the pros during an expanded seminar lineup and stop by the kid's area for some family fun activities.

The boat show continues until 10 p.m. Friday, from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Nashville Convention Center on Commerce Street.

Over 15,000 people are expected to attend.
